Short description
Color is usually brown, yellow, or green, often with contrasting oral cones and tentacle tips. Colonies are hemispherical or, more commonly, form short, thick columns. Goniopora has numerous daisy-like polyps that extend from the base, each ending in 24 stinging tentacles.
