Short description
The upper surface of the starfish is decorated with a mosaic of small, raised and often bumpy plates. Fromia ghardaqana color patterns vary widely, from bright orange, yellow and red to more muted browns and grays, often with complex patterns and contrasting stripes. It is found only in the Red Sea.
