Short description
Body is pale yellow, turning white towards the head. On the sides are two wide, slanted vertical blackish stripes, darker below and becoming more diffuse towards the back. The anterior stripe starts at the base of the dorsal fin, near or above the eye, and goes to the pelvic fin. The back stripe starts at the spiny part of the dorsal fin and goes to the back of the anal fin. The pectoral fins, soft part of the dorsal and anal fins and the caudal fin are yellow, and the pelvic fins are black. It has a very elongated white thread extending from the front of the dorsal fin.
