Spot-fin porcupinefish

   The body is elongated with smooth skin covered with long sharp spines, which are modified scales. The upper body, sides and fins are tan, brown or gray. Numerous small dark spots are scattered over the entire surface of the body, head and fins, there are no large spots. The breast is white.
