Short description

 

 

 

   

   The body is grayish-reddish-brown with a dark stripe or spot on each body scale, a blue stripe above the yellow upper lip, and blue teeth. The caudal fin is black with a blue border. In immature fish, a yellow stripe is visible at the base of the tail.
