Ehrenberg's snapper (Lutjanus ehrenbergii)

   The back and upper body are dark brown. The underside and belly are whitish with a silvery tint. Four to five narrow yellow stripes typically run along the lower half of the body below the lateral line. On the side below the rear part of the base of the hard part of the dorsal fin there is a large black spot of a round shape.
