Short description
The coloration is often bright yellow (golden), but can also be gray-green or pink. On the upper half of the caudal peduncle, there is a large saddle-shaped yellow spot. The area around the eye is yellow with short radial blue stripes. The caudal fin has longitudinal blue stripes parallel to the rays. The second dorsal and anal fins have narrow oblique blue stripes.
