Short description
Body is yellowish-gray, the edges of the scales (except for the ventral ones) are bright blue. On the upper half of the caudal peduncle there is a large saddle-shaped yellow spot. The area around the eye is yellow with short radial blue stripes. On the caudal fin there are longitudinal blue stripes parallel to the rays of the fin. The second dorsal and anal fins have narrow oblique blue stripes. There is another form that is entirely yellow with a bright yellow saddle-shaped spot on the upper part of the caudal peduncle.
