Short description
Body is dark brown to blackish. The fins are dark brown to blackish, except for the pectoral fins, which are translucent with dark rays. The pectoral fins have a pupil-sized black spot at the base of the uppermost rays, a black spot at the base of the posterior dorsal rays, extending slightly onto the dorsal edge of the caudal peduncle. With or without white bar across posterior half of body.
