Greasy grouper (Epinephelus tauvina)

   The base color is pale greenish-gray or brown, covered with numerous small, densely spaced spots ranging from orange-red to dark brown. The spots become smaller and more numerous with age. Five faint, blurred vertical stripes may be present on the body.
