Short description
The coloration is grayish, greenish-brown, or gray-blue. The entire body and caudal fin are covered with numerous small white spots. The skin is covered with small but noticeable spines, visible when the fish is inflated. The belly is white. Concentric contrasting white and dark gray lines radiate around the eyes and pectoral fins.
