Short description
Common octopus (Octopus vulgaris) can change color to blend into its surroundings. Using its beak, it can crack shells. It also possesses venom to immobilize its prey. It lives for 1–2 years. The body of one individual contains approximately 500 million neurons, which is almost comparable to the number of neurons in dogs. It lives for 1–2 years.
