Short description
In most cases, the main color of the mantle is brown, which is covered with numerous golden-brown, cream or white lines and spots. Although, there are other colors and shapes, various stripes, dots and spots of green, orange or blue. The shell is covered with raised scutes that look like blades or petals. The shields, especially at the bottom of the shell, may be broken off or missing altogether.
